I see dead presidents...
Hi there ho there!
It's Leslie today. This morning we had a very satisfying breakfast of luscious cereal at our campsite and had a little visitor.
Quote of the day: Chrissie~"I just saw a rabbit! It was wild, or, tame or something!" Got that right. We then headed down to the volleyball court and got our game on!!! Yeah, ok, so then we ate lunch and headed off to see the rushiest of mores, Mt. Rushmore. We took the scenic route. And I mean, the scenic route. It took about 2 hours, but we saw many a buffalo. And I mean, many a buffalo. We also saw some deer, and birds, and other life of a wild nature. Mount Rushmore was, in a word, awwwwwwwwesome! It was HUUUUUUUGE! And I mean HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! Well, maybe not worth 16 U's, but still. It was breathtaking. Then we went home and had a nice dinner of chicken sandwiches, and we learned how the cave men made popcorn! Fascinating! Peace out!

P.S. Betsyjane-me and Brad are actually getting along quite splendidly! =)

Sounds like the trip has taken a turn for the better! Gazing at enormous presidents usually has that affect on people. For those of us reading the blog, it is really cool to click on the pictures. It makes them enlarged, and you can even enlarge them again after that. It made the rabbit look HUGE! (That was kinda scary!)Great job with filling us in, all of you.
Rock on, climbers!

Also, if you click on the Corn Palace, Deboe and Betsy, you can actually see how the ears of corn are filling in the frame of the building in different colors. Not too fascinating, but the most interesting thing in that flatland area. It just keeps getting better and better!

I think it's the Velveteen Rabbit. It has the really loved look to it, and I think He is sick of the "real" world issues and was hoping that you'd take him out of the park so he could sleep in a "real" bed again.
